Haters are going to hate.
Praisers are going to praise.
The Bungie Forums are what keeps my mind sharp and my fingers active, between writing my own movie scripts, drawing, and studying industrial design. At the moment I'm working on miniatures for a short movie that I'll hopefully be able to film once I've saved up for a camera... That's me, with the mug, trying to have a conversation with Konoko.

Does anyone else feel that bungie's just kind of phoning it in when it comes to scoring? I haven't really felt a connection between audio and video since maybe even the announcement trailer which really isn't putting me in a good mood for this great new game Bungie has coming out if they're cutting corners and taking liberties with even their promotional material, which is supposed to show the best face for the game.
I agree, but I think they're trying to show just how massive and diverse Reach will be, and doing so requires them to show many scenes, many short scenes so that they don't give too much away. I figure it would be hard to maintain the individual scenes actuall sound without it sounding crowded, which is probably why they toned donw everything and placed a sweeping track over everything...
I think this trailer is mostly for the general/mainstream audiance, those who demand length of a game, an avid fan would already know how diverse the game was through screenshots and knowlage of the different levels etc, and would therefor prefere a thorough presentation of a -or a couple of- scene/s.
Anyway...
