Here's a place where you can tell what you think a pretty cool alien for Halo.

A cross between a Elite and an Hunter. With a shield but tall and more harder to kill.

A brick wall. If shivers, but you just decide that it's all in your head. Then, as you pass by, it bites your head off.

Lag. The ultimate enemy. It may seem that it would only be dangerous with other covenant around it, but it can actually cause you to kill yourself.

It'd be cool to have the 'footsoldiers' of the bugs from 'Starship Troopers' as a Covenant race. Although it would clash with the general trend of quadraped aliens and using guns in warfare. The sheer numbers would overwhelm you, but I think they'd replace the Grunt in battle; which isn't good at all.

Maybe a cross between a Jackal and an Elite. The cool strategies of an Elite and a huge energy 'riot shield'. Although the creature wouldn't have a full body shield like an Elite, his relexes would make sure the shield is always pointing in the right direction. It would probably use the Plasma Rifle or the new 'Carbine' weapon of Halo 2.

I'd like to see some Flood forms of stuff. A Jackal or Grunt (not 'Carrier Form' but a 'Jackal Combat Form') would be cool. I'd like to see what the Flood could do to some simple Earth animals like dogs, cows, horses and elephants etc. (animals with sufficient biomass). Also, I'd wonder what these animals traits and speical abilities would be (Combat forms are good jumpers and have a whip-like hand)

Does anyone here know how to spell Covenant? I do *raises hand*!

Anyway, I'd like to see a stereotypical rapper-grunt.

"The G to the R to the U to the N..."

There you go JoZh, here's your precious 'Make Your Own Covenant' thread.

I'm going to make my own Covenant (or Flood) now. Here they are:

The Infiltrator
The Infiltrator is best described as a cross between an Elite and a Jackal. Standing at 6ft 9 with its large riot-style energy shield this is definitely not a character you want to meet on a regular basis. The Infiltrator will work very will in a team with other Infiltrators, averaging at a team of 5. They will work together to advance on the enemy and wipe them out with presicion of their Plasma Rifles tucked in the notch of the shield. Although they don't have any all round body shielding like the Elites, they make up for it with their fast reflexes when using the energy sheild to protect themselves and their slightly thicker body armour.

The Infiltrator Combat Form (Flood)
Once taken over by a flood infection form, the Infilrator loses all its body armour, its energy shield and weapons. The transformation of the body returns the Infiltrator to all fours (like 4000 years ago) and gives it the ability to wall crawl for short periods of time due to its superior agility. Knowing that these guys exist puts a whole new twist on battle, as they will frequently run towards you in a spiral motion down corridors to avoid getting hit and cling to ceilings to wait for uninfected creatures to come along.
