I like the spam filter. It serves a good purpose. The only annoying thing is the 1 minute thing. It's necessary though. What I would like, is a timer showing me how many seconds I have left until I can reply again. It could be put up at the top like right abover your "My Stats" link. Sure, it would be useful for spammers. But, it still keeps them from posting for the minute. I think it would be very nice. What do you think?

Don't you have a watch?

That might be hard to implement and might take quite a toll site and slow it down. I wouldn't know.

Maybe. I doubt it though. It's not that big of a thing. It takes the processing power to keep track of it already. Simple matter of displaying it.

The only thing i don't like about it is that you have to wait to edit your posts.

Yeah it is an okay idea, but if your to lazy to look at the bottom of your computer screen to see the time, then thats just sad.

You now have to wait 58...57....56....54...53....54....54....54...54.............

If you really need a count down timer, get a stop-watch.

It was a cold day near the southern base in Blood Gulch. Cortana and I were relaxing over a game of Go Fish, WHEN OUT OF NO WHERE 700 BANSHEES CAME FLYING IN!!! I GRABED MY SPARTAN LASER AND LET HELL REIGN DOWN UPON THEM. I HOPPED IN THE NEAREST WARTHOG AND TOLD CORTANA TO GET IN.

Does it matter that much? Are you going to post excatly every 60 seconds?

No. But, I would like to know when my time is up, instead of guessing. Dang. The 1 minute thing got me on this post too!

Why don't you take that extra thirty seconds to write a post thats full of quality, not quantity.

ug. Everyone automatically assumes that when someone doesn't take a lot of time to write something, that it was of poor quality.

No, but at least 3/4 of the time it is.

Browse another website to pass the time. Or maybe read a book. But if you're really that concerned, get a watch, or some mechanical device with a seconds timer and wait for it to hit 60.

You could make it read off of the system clock. Having a constant stream running to every logged on user would tax resources, but having a script read off of the users clock wouldn't be hard. It wouldn't be that useful for me, because I don't post that often.

-Quaere verum.

Got a report? Use the report tool or send a pm.
Chairleg Productions presents: 'Console Wars' and 'Games as Art?' (also on Halo Waypoint).

To sum up my opinion: Yes it would be quite useful but probably not a feature we're likely to see very soon.
