hey my video card took a crap so i need to get a new one. i have heard good things about the pny geforce fx 5200 ultra and i was just wondering if it is strong enough to play halo. please if anyone has experience with this card speak up. all your help is appreciated

How much money do you have? When your upgrading gfx cards, only going to low range is pointless for the money.

if you have around 150 bucks then go to www.mwave.com and get a 9600 xt. if you have more money then that then get a 9800 xt.

Dont worry, thats ok :) Turn that frown upside down!! (wow, that sounded SO -blam!-). Anyways, for $80american, you could get a Radeon 9550 with 128mb of ram. For NVIDIA, I think something in the same range would be the 5500FX. I suggest sticking with ATI, cause I like them (quality, business, etc). If you could save a bit more, I would highly recommend getting a 9600pro (which would be about $110). It has a higher clock speed and memory speed then the 9550.

actually save up, and get anything within the 9600 series, except the 9600 se these cards are slow. 119 bucks will get you a 9600 xt from mwave.com. well you have to add tax and shipping.
