It's happened twice now. I've tried to use eith a < or a > and if i click to save the changes, it comes up with an error. Why is this? Is it a site command thing?

All I know is that your sig is messed up.

should be:

Without the brackets

"Parentheses"

It depends on what you've written.

I would imagine that the forum is set up to block any HTML.

Well for example. I typed: "<Angsty_AI> No U" for my signature. and when i tried to modify settings it came up with an error.

[Editz: I have reported it. Incase you were wondering about the error, it said it may be harmful data. security error]

Only certain places in the site allow the characters < or > due to their significance in HTML. By default in ASP.NET, those characters are considered dangerous.

So, if you get that "RequestValidation" error, that means you shouldn't be using the characters there.

Err.... why doesn't it simply change those two into the special characters &gt; and &lt;? It seems silly to completely terminate the post if it simply has those characters.
