Never give up, never surrender!

I've been wondering, when you completed Halo:CE on Legendary, did you do the missions in order from first to last or did you do it randomly ?

I'm certainly not a master of anything other than getting killed a lot, but have figured out some stuff on that setting. If you're used to a lower setting and are strategizing, it's like adding 25% to whatever you're doing. What would kill an Elite falls just short, where there were a couple of enemies, there are now many, etc. The order of levels doesn't seem to make a ton of difference either. The first encounter on Halo is as demanding as some of the later stuff. Just pick a level you like and get the feel for what goes, keep a defensive mindset and eventually it will all feel normal. (And somehow even more fun, if that's possible...:P)

Each encounter is certainly more demanding, which is logiclal. It's just from what I've seen from the people here that have beaten it on legendary, they always talk about it in a way that suggests they beat the missions in a different order.
I've always wanted to complete this game on Legendary. Just today I got to "Truth and Reconciliation". And thanks for the advice. I'll certainly put it to good use.

Hey

I got through the entire campaign on Legendary dying once in a day, first to last. I've had Halo 1 on Xbox since 2001 and Pc since 2005 or 2006, so it took a while to master. Just keep your head down

I did all levels in order on Easy, Normal and Heroic. On legendary I had to skip over T&R cause I couldn't get past 'Belly of the Beast'. I came back and kept at it until I could regularly beat that section. To this day it's one of the hardest things to do, but I can do it without using the health pack or active camo.

After reading this, I feel that I'm not worthy to be in your presence.
