Yes, but it should be an option to turn it off:  25%

I think the new Target Tracking system is good, but newbs might take advantage of it...I think it should be an option to turn it off or on, because it doesnt really test your skill, it tests that you can zoom in and fire. Ideas?

Well seeing as the vehicels are a lot better now I think the trackiong on the launcher will probably balance it out.

plus I like it you can take out the pesky banshee noobs with it. Im also pretty sure it only works on vehicles (like a heat tracker or somthing) so you cant track infantry.

humans and and other animals also give out heat so if it is heat tracking then it whill also go after humans and cuvs. but i don't think that it works by heat because than a derect lock wouldn't be nesesary.

Well there might be some other way, but as long as it does not track infantry im cool with it.

What the heck, I like the days when it took skill to fire the rocket, I think the idea is bad, i mean sure its not going to swerving round the level (or I hope not) but it will sure make things a lot better for noobs

They don't track life forms, just vehicles if I remember correctly. And you have to have target tracking or else how would you get the other team out of the banshees if they got control of all of them.

Vehicles give out tons more heat than a human.

Yep. The tracking should only be for the rocket and then only for AA fire, not at ground vehicles. Otherwise, vehichles will become deathtraps

The rocket isnt as powerful. In the E3 demo it took 3 rockets to kill Wort when he was in the hog.

They would only be deathtraps on all Rocket Launcher mode. Since it is a powerful weapon there should only be 1-2 on each map to help balance it out.

Yes but it only takes one hit to kill the driver (on the e3 2004 video they were using more than 100% health) Plus the Rocket does the same damage its just the WortHog is tougher.

Yes, but there will no longer be "that great rocket shot" from across the map at that impossible angle, because it will simplt have been done with the aid of a guided rocket. Kind of takes the finesse out of the maneuver.

Might not have wanted to say the word that means "New player" Shiska will kills you. I like it. It has'nt been said it the tracking only tracks vehicles. So it may not track infantry.

Im sure the target tracking will have a range to it so you cant track people across the level.

I really dislike the new target tracking system. I’ve spent a long time perfecting my rocket launcher skillz, and now it’s all way too simplified.

The rocket launcher was nice because it was very powerful but since the rockets moved soooooo slow it took a little practice to handle it correctly. Now anybody can take you out with ease while you’re on a mad dash back to base(in a trusty hog of course). What makes this system suck even more, is that not only will your car be hit more easily, but it will then continue to explode afterwards, leaving you stranded without escape.

What I am trying to say is that it will make the rocket launcher even more unbalanced then it was before. Even if they do make the explosion weaker to balance it out, it’ll still be bad because, ‘cmon lets face it… its still a DAMN BIG FIREY BALL OF DEATH, and it will still blow you up. ;-)

In Campaign mode though… Bring it on!!!

I think it'll be good, because you need to have the reticle red, you need to be zoomed in, and I think it only works on vehicles.
