I dig the drop pods in the background. A simple and undistractive yet gripping backdrop.
Edit:
What medium are you using? (Acrylic, Oil, etc.)
What's your canvas? (Canvas, Paper, if so what kind?)
Are you using a ton of paint so that the painting has texture or more on the lesser side?
Are you working wet into wet, wet into dry, etc?
1) Acrylic
2) Acrylic primed canvas board (its a cross between wood and cardboard)
3-4) Similar questions so I will appropriately mash the two. Its very little paint, just mixed with water to make it flow easier. But I start with letting the paint dry fully then apply the next layer. Multiple times. If I don't like it I just paint over it.
Some other questions that may come up if asked....
Q: Did you sketch out the painting first?
A: Nope, just started painting...
Q: What type of paintbrush are you using?
A: Well I am currently using three types of brush. A size 4, 8, and 16. With a size 1 for detailing. I will also mention that these are camel haired brushes. Just a little fact since these brushes are kinda expensive... (If using acrylic, wash with soap and water twice if not three time after your done painting.) As for texture, if you run your hand across it you would defiantly feel it. but that is mainly because of the layering process I used.
Q:Have you painted/drawn in other mediums? What is my favorite?
Yes... Oil, Acrylic, spray paint/ airbrush. And I am fairly talented in drawing with standard pencils and pens. My favorite medium is just a pencil although for paint it would be acrylic, just because it dries faster.
