I think Marty should lay off the techno (i hope thats the catigory i mean) and go more for stuff people normally listen too (but not ghetto music). If not, I can still live with it.

Well, actually I'm not sure myself. I think they should add an option to play the default Halo 2 music, or play your own soundtracks, OR, play Halo 2 music wherever the key points in levels or storylines are, and then when the Halo 2 music completely stops, your own soundtracks start playing.

Or, after Halo2 has been out awhile, download music off Xbox live that Bungie could create then post. Yes, Marty should make these too.

As I said before, I think we should definitely be able to play our own music in Halo 2, just as a little feature for after you beat it the first time. Hey, wait a minute... some people have suggested unlockable features in Halo 2.

Custom Soundtrack - beat Legendary in under 5.5 hours to -blam!- slap Marty with some hell-hot DMX!

Personally, I love the Halo music, but after a while (3 years now) it gets old. When I get tired of Halo 2 music I'll probably put music from other games in. I can hear it now - blazing fast Einhander techno and epic Final Fantasy scores, supplemented by a little Metroid Prime...

i really love the music in Campaign mode and I think it should be left alone. But I would LOVE it if we could have our own music goin while playing multiplayer. It would really be cool and if one did not want to listen to music while playin multi then they could just shut the music off.

waht good would that do, i mean if your lisenting to friggen james brown(no disrespect, james brown is the greatest!) while their in like the most dramatic part of the game, wuldnt that kinda kill the mood of the dramaticness?

well depends when you can listen to this custom music. I think it would be cool if you could listen to this custom music while playing mulitplayer becuase there isn't any. but in campain nope. hell -blam!- no. marty and the sound team work too effen hard for you too just listen to somthing else. they make the music time up with certain events in the game. like its some other music, then you go over this ridge and there is a battle going on and the music changes. so no. not ever not never.

Honestly I just don't know. I know that in single player I am for sure against it.

However for Multiplayer I really think it might be cool. I know that when I play a ton of Multiplayer games, the music can get annoying sometimes. With a custom soundtrack you can keep that from happening.

Either way if there is the option or not, I will be fine with it.

And u cant copy boot-leg cds.

Actually, on some Xbox consoles you can. Most Xbox's read CD-RW, and some will even read CD-R. If you want to know if your Xbox can, open the DVD drive and look at the tray, if there are two holes where the disc sits and some other holes near the front (away from Xbox) of the tray, it will read CD-R media. I think this has something to do with when the shifted production to the plant in China, and maybe had to subsitute a different brand of drive to keep up produciton or something. My Xbox will read CD-R's and was made in China (as opposed to Mexico where first Xbox's were made). I bought it May 2003.

All answers are inherently wrong.

Singleplayer levels should have fixed scored music, multiplayer levels should default to having no music unless the player playlists it.
