There are parts of T & R that are a major pain in the keister playing Leg. Now, take that amount of frustration and do what I am doing currenty (again), which is a melee and grenades only run through the entire level. You cannot fire a single shot. Yeah, that makes for some real interesting times (If you like pulling your hair out! Which I do!)
The opening battle after piling out of the Pelican, that is really a beast to get done without firing a shot and starting with no plasma grenades, it might actually be the one toughest thing to get past. If the first one or two grunts that you pummel do not cough any up upon dying, yeah, time to restart the level since you are going to have a hard time killing much of anything stealthily once the marines start firing. One time I tried doing it by killing all of my marines before I went after to covies, for any extra frags and to keep them from blowig my cover too soon, yeah that worked out great, all the future spawned marines spawned an angry red color and made life very difficult for the 'ole MC.
The Belly of the Beast, melee and grenade only play is the only time I have to use the cloak, if I allow myself to fire I never end up using it. There are just too few ways to get quick grenades to take out all of the sword elites and spawns of jackals and grunts.
This mode of play, it is a blast to do though, really takes alot of thinking on how you are going to eliminate everything, without skipping any enemies. Fortunatly grunts are eventually curious and brave, you can lure them close enough to smack them in the face enough times to smoke them and grab up their grenades (TOO CLOSE! TOO CLOSE!..........I love that line!). As long as you use the available cover in the right way, you can get everything to eventually come close enough to either put a fist into or in the case of elites, give em a nice plasma grenade, yeah, back up quick!
