I wanta get xbox live but all the dsl internet services are pritty exspensive so i was just wondering if any one knew a cheap dsl internet service that was compatible with x-box live but still doesnt lag and its good. A internet service thats fast but doesnt lag while im playing a game but its till cheap.

Cause im tryin 2 prepare 4 halo 2

sbc has 1.5 down/384 up for 29.99 a month

there are a few companies that'll give you DSL for around 29.99 a month, maybe even less.
try qwest dsl , they gave me a free DSL gateway, which acts as a wireless and hardline router, which goes at 54Mbps, which is what the Xbox wireless adapter runs at.
Another company is Earthlink DSL they're pretty reasonable too.

dont get routers, i have one and it creates a good amount of lag, just use ethernet cables...

Comcast Cable is what I have its around $50. And I have a router, its a D-Link DI-514 wireless it works wonderfully, no lag and max players in most games I think it was $80 I can't remember. Or if you want to get an even better router theres another D-Link one thats actually on the compatible list that Microsoft made for i think $40. And with a router you can split the connection between your computer and your Xbox easily and it keeps the connection speed the same for all instead of divideing it. I have 2 computers that are always online and my Xbox all at the same time and none of them get reduced speed or lag.

but do these dsl connections work well with out a lag?
