You don't have to go make a whole nother post on this soon it will be moved, but I guess that is good to see your not lazy.

Soon it will grow on us, lets all just deal with it for now and move it along. Soon we will have this as a custom for regular posters and members.

-Quaere verum.

Chairleg Productions presents: 'Console Wars' and 'Games as Art?' (also on Halo Waypoint).

It will certainly not be taken off completely and, correct me if i'm wrong, but i think the main reason it applies to chapters too is because it is difficult to make the spam filter differentiate between chapter forums and the main forums.

It is the soldier, not the reporter, who has given us freedom of the press. It is the soldier, not the poet, who has given us freedom of speech. It is the soldier, not the campus organizer, who has given us the freedom to demonstrate. It is the soldier, not the lawyer, who has given us the right to a fair trial. And it is the soldier who salutes the flag, who serves the flag, whose coffin is draped in the flag that allows the protester to burn the flag.Father Dennis Edward O'Brien, USMC

I like the spam filter. Off cousre it has blocked me several times, but it works and is fair.

Spam shouldnt be allowed in any forum.

I'm certifiable.

Not that us moderators have any access to the spam-filter switch... but, for what it's worth, I'm all for leaving the spam filter intact.

-- Steve is slightly biased in this judgement, however, in that he's now one of the ones who has to sweep up after spam.

The only thing I don't like is the 1 minute thing. And that's not that bad. I hate spammers.

I am also all for the filter even in groups. It's not a long delay and there isn't a huge demand for Bungie to supply playgrounds for spam, even in groups.

Well i hope they atleast reduce the time limit to like 5 or 10 seconds....

I'm not that active, but never dead.

Considering the quality of your posts: no paragraphs, little use of puncuation and horrid spelling, you could use the time you spend waiting fixing up your posts.

Just a thought.

Sorry, but I am totally infatuated with the spam filter.

I have way too many bad memories of deleting pages upon pages of spam topics by the sam person, each made three seconds after the previous one. The only way you've run into it is probably by being hit by the red "Sorry, we have a spam filter" message a couple of times. I've seen spammers stopped in their tracks without even being able to fill a single page of threads. It's a welcome change from the days of having twenty five tabs from each forum open at a time and re-filling those tabs six times after deleting another batch of spam threads.

Sorry, but if the spam filter were turned off (which it won't be; Achronos is not insane) I would probably lose a large portion of my hair.

That would completally destroy the whole meaning of having it in the first place.

I like the spam filter because it does it's job. Even if someone decides to spam it no longer has the same impact it did. Now all we need is a spell checker that automatically changes sais to says.

*Only people who don't write intelligent posts or spammers complain about the filter so it must be doing its job.

This is only version one.

I would imagine that it will be refined over time.

In any case, it's better than no spam filter.
