How do you do the thing so that one gun shoots another gun's bullets?

pick up the first controller and go to a level. any level. get a checkpoint, and take note of the weapon you have. quit, switch to the second controller, and get another checkpoint on the same level. quit again, go back to the first controller. now you have a weapon that fires another weapon's bullets.

I'll put this in a nifty list:

1. Pull out weapon of choice. (This will be the skin of the weapon.)
2. Get a checkpoint.
3. Save and quit.
4. Plug controller in a different port on your Xbox.
5. Load from last save.
6. Pull out your second weapon. (This is what will be fired from your skin.)
7. Get a checkpoint.
8. Save and quit.
9. Put controller back to your original slot.
10. Load from last save.
