Sorry Team Snipes, but I must say you're wrong. Bungie covered this in the Battle Rifle article. The Host has a disadvantage when it comes to shots. He is easier to hit (do to some network thing it explained) and that when he shoots at you, it's always a little off. It makes it to where the host can dodge a bullet, however, will still get hit, even though he dodged it.
BUNGIE STATED THIS. THEY CREATED THIS GAME AND TESTED IT FOR EXTENSIVE TIMES. THEY HAVE SEEN AND CREATED THE CODE OF THIS GAME. YOU HAVE NOT.
That's a statement for everyone who would like to disagree and argue with the geniuses that designed the game and spent hours upon hours testing it. In fact, they've probably played it more in the development stage than any fan since it's release. They'd know.
This was fixed in Halo 3.
I have noticed that occasionally some people in Team Swat will take more hits than others. However, this is not just the host I have noticed this on, unless two people are hosting at the same time. It is a lag issue in general. And you can call it an aiming problem, but when you are both idle, looking at the head, and one shoots first, and lives, and the other shoots and dies, it's undeniable. Especially when you go into theater just to make sure.
Personally, it might only be the host this happens on. Maybe I am wrong. Maybe when they fixed the host's disadvantage, the unintentionally gave him a new advantage (in the circumstances of bad connection.)
but yes, I've noticed it, but I think the host thing is irrelevant.
And for your argument with afuzzykitten541, Team Snipes, the article stated that at a distance, you must lead your target for the Battle Rifle to be effective. This was intentional to make the Battle Rifle less over powered, in that it can only travel so far per frame and is no longer a hitscan weapon, making the shot not instant at a distance, and making the shot take longer to hit the farther the target is.
Not saying you disagreed to that, as you didn't. I'm clarifying the validity of that comment.
Team swat opponents absorb more damage because the health modifier is at 150-200 percent
