On the E3 demo, after the Covie artillery was destroyed, MC moved in with the Marines to mop up the rest of the Covenant. Right before the Warthog part, he and the Marines reached a burned out hole in a building with a bunch of grunts and jackals. A Marine tossed a grenade into the pack, which detonated. The Chief moved in, and all the Covenant were alive, but clutching their eyes. So, is the flash-bang grenade a new grenade type? Or am I imagining things?

yeah i thought it was a flasher for a long while, but then i watched that vid again and you can see the same type of explosion jussst around the corner, i'm not sure exactly why they are walking around looking stunned but i doubt it's a flasher

Well a flashbang makes a small explosiont when it goes off although small it still sends out smoke and sparks.

I believe right after the marine throws what looks to me like a flash grenade, he says “dragon clear”. I don’t have the video anymore so I can’t check; I might be totally off base. So if it a flash grenade, it might be called a dragon grenade, but I don't know like I said before I could be completely wrong.

No, he says, "Frag and Clear!!!"

It is very evident if you turn up the sound a bit...This has been discussed, the frag grenade will stun you if you are not in the blast radius.

He said "Frag and clear!" I think.

Dragon would be a cool name for a grenade, or any weapon.

I'm just writing in here to give this guy another hit on his thread. But I do find these responses very interesting. It just proves how realistic halo 2 will actually be.

Also, if you slowly look at the E3 demo after the marines throw the grenade the grunts/jackel look very disoriented..

it may have been a tear gas grenade.

They want the 'Halo.' But I tell them: 'No! No Halo! For you, only the 'Frenzy'! The 'Frenzy' and maybe some 'Munch'

I heard that frags will now have a stun affect on enemies outside the immidiate blast radius. And so much has changed since last year, that almost anything from that video could have been changed.

Everyone who's been on these forums for a while knows that it's good and damn well a frag grenade.
