Alright, let's look at the history of video games being turned into movies, well let's not, it's painful. The simple fact is that the movies never stay true to the game at all, and they are all hokey and nonsensical. I simply think that if we took Fall of Reach, and adapted it into a screenplay with REAL ACTORS, not that CGI crap that people always suggest yet always fails, and put some decent drama into it and brain it up, it would be a rather good movie, basically a war movie. As for actors, hire unknowns, hell, it worked for M*A*S*H.

M*A*S*H was a television show, not a movie.

I know Tons of Actors and Directors and other important Hollywood People say their fav Game is Halo. I bet if Bungie wanted to make a movie for Halo There would be a long line of people wanting to work on the movie. And if Bungie wants to make a movie I think they would make it a great movie! I would like to see a Halo movie with some really good actor playing MC!

It was a dark comedy/war movie, last time I checked people tended to die. But that's not the point, I want opinions on the Halo Movie, ones that would work.

OK....enough about MASH!, get back to the subject.

There are no plans to make Halo into a movie- and never will be. It's not that hard to understand, my friends.

Well, if Shishka says there won't be a movie- there won't be a movie. Your hope is misplaced. Stop trying to bring back a dead idea, there just won't be a Halo movie.

I think the best actor for Master Chief would be Kurt Russell, his voice is soooo similar and if you've seen the movie "Soldier", you'll probaly agree with me. ( If you havent seen this movie then see it, its very good!)

You suck man, Soldier is more realistic and has a very close storyline to Halo.
Halo - Soldier
spartans - super soldiers
John - Todd

Those are some simularities.
And they both have warships and planets to fight on, they're intensly trained, and if you watch the movie then you'll see many similarities.
I was talkin to Oppitan, sorry onloanfromgod

I think the reason it sucked was because my brain was working that day.

If the movie followed along the lines of the books I think it could be an extremly good movie. I think the reason most games to movies have failed is because the games they use have no backround to make a movie from. Lets face it tomb raider the game is nothign like the movie and has no reral good backround to make a movie from Halo on the other hand has a complete universe that has plenty of backround to mkae a really great movie and if they follow the books a great trilogy
