When Halo 2 is "done and dusted" do you think that other game companys will "steal" the graphics, game engine, etc. etc........?

I think other companies will try and copy or mimmick halo 2 and its engine and inards. But i dont know if they will be able to actually physically copy or steal there engine and graphics

But they can get a license to use the engine, if Bungie allows it. Just Like Wideload is licensing the Halo (1) engine for it's current, and I beleive un named game.

i doubt they will steal the graphics because it would take alot of work to remake high quality stuff like that. but im sure they will copy the hell out of the good ideas the where implemented in the game.

well im obviously a slow reader and typer two other people have already said the same thing as me (sorta) :P

I dont see why they would lease it or whatever. Because if they did it would not take the other companies very long to make great games that will be able to rival halo 2's sales. I think bungie is going to be selfish with it, as they should. And let the other companies figure it out for themselves.

I found it hard too.......

Wideload probably only gets to license the Halo engine because it's made up of ex-Bungie employees, who Bungie can trust. I doubt that Bungie would license the Halo 2 engine to any old company.

I think we can trust Alex. He is, after all, The Man™.

And Matt is the coolest person ever. I don't care if he does turn "bad". Wideload is going to kick arse, trust me.

How did you get the "TM" sign?

On a Mac, hold option and press 2. For PC users, you'll have to ask somebody else - it's ALT+bunchakeypadnumbers - Reiginko
