Ranking up is extremely hard when you have a lot of exp, it took me like a year to get from 44 to 45 because after a couple of wins I would get in 4th in lone wolves which makes you backtrack, it's just frustrating.

Exp does not effect ranking up at all, the only relation between exp and ranking up is correlative. Also, it's not the exp that's slowly you down, it's your inconsistency.

Why do you deserve to rank up if you can't win consistently?

you have no idea what you are even saying do you. Ok the less exp you have and the more you win the faster you rank. The more exp you have the slower it goes. Your so BK. Look I am like a 17 in swat now. when I first played with my friends they were 1-5 in swat and i was like a 12 and I had a ton of exp. We won so many games everyone got to there 20s and I was at 14. So trust me exp matters.

Really no one should care about being considered good at this game, especially at this point. Its a dying game

sadly true

Total exp doesnt matter, but playlist EXP can tell you alot of things. While it doesnt really matter playlist exp can give you an indication of how hard it will be for you to rank up. Someone with a playlist general and a 33 will take longer to rank up as opposed to someone who is a 33 and has 34 playlist exp. Your friends were ranking up faster because they had less games in the playlist and were playing with someone who had a lot of games in the playlist and losses most likely.

But total EXP means nothing, nothing at all

Seriously, why is this such a huge issue? Why do you people care if someone you'll never meet IRL is better than you at a game?

Here's a perfect example:

Mine: Getting a Perfection in a Ranked game. I have the Perfection curse. 6 Running Riots, zero Perfections.

If you have one, what was yours?

my unfinished goal is getting past 36 but it isnt happening becuase i dont rank up in team slayer because i have too much exp and my conection for swat isnt good enough.

I find it funny that he first blames his high exp, which isn't really a problem because even booster accounts rank up after consequtive wins, then blames his connection on his lack of ability to rank up in swat, even though i personally have an entire FL filled with people with horrible connections, yet they've all managed numerous 50's including swat.

So, why is this such a huge deal? I openly admit i'm horrible at basketball and don't make excuses, which i'd think is a lot harder than admitting the same about a game to a bunch of people over a forum that you'll never even talk to.

I'm pretty sure this is making it personal. Reported.

IDK can you tell me why?

I didn't think having aspirations to be better was frowned upon by the 'pr0s'. That's just sad. If they want to better themselves in a video game, let them. You're in no position to criticize other players' motives.

Riverside23: For all the women of the group, if you've got a real man at least let him have his big piece of chicken.

WhtButterflyLiz: lol. Bring home bigger chikkinz, then, real man!!!

DEATHPIMP72: *throws pterodactyl on table*
Suck it JoeSki!!!

Because, as is with many IRL circumstances, situations aren't black and white. You can't attribute one event as the result of a single cause, but as an amalgamation of various causes leading to the end result.

In short, saying, "You're just not good enough," is the simpleton's way of simplifying the world into understandable terms.

I agree that all presidents should serve 2 terms. 1 in office and 1 in prison

I think it is because it makes them feel like a failure. People will use this as a way to make them feel even worse. I know I am not good enough for a 50 and I really don't care.

You really shouldn't be calling other people BKs when you have a negative k/d...
Just saying.
Not that you should use it in any other situation, but still.

Exp does not matter one bit in terms of ranking up.

Fine. I'm terrible at Halo. Happy now?

people find it tough to admit flaws in themselves, and somtimes there is a genuine roadblock (connection or playlist exp can and do contribute to ability to rank up).

I for one, am destined for gold bars sooner or later because there's no way i'm reaching a hs of 40 before 1800 global exp. Oh well, i have 400+ exp in ts because i played it as a random almost the entire time i played halo solo, but that's not an excuse, it just means if i wanted to go for my 40 i'd have to win far more cinsistently to rank up.

I also know i'm not a good enough individual player to carry a team (which you pretty much have to be able to do playing as a random in ts after lvl 30). So i just slid into social and that's where i have my fun, and if i'm playing well i'll look into ranked.

The point is i have no issue with admitting i'm not good enough to get myself higher in team slayer so gold bars here i come :P
