I say this because If you go to my computer program files and then to where ever halo is then you can go to sound then music and listen to it from there or even copy it onto a blank CD. The only reason I'd see is lazyness like I would be. I just ordered the soundtrack from amazon, any song that I should really look forward too?

The songs are different, there is a bonus CD, and there's a bonus song. Some people don't have Halo PC or Mac, and some are just not good enough with computers.

Well, I went to Age of Mythology and Medal of Honor Allied Asallut and went to sounds and copyed a lot of the songs to a cd. How can you not do that?

I'm guessing it won't work. I don't have Halo for Mac, but I know that the music in Halo is too complex for that to work. The game mixes the music on the fly, responding to gameplay, so the music files will not have a full song, just fragments that the game will mix together. The Halo soundtrack even has some music within the tracks that contain in-game music that is not even in the game, and it's basically a completely different experience. Marty has more control over the soundtrack, so the soundtrack is more of a work of art where the in-game music is more mathematically calculated.

If you have Acid 4.0, and the parts of the song that are mixed together are done so on the fly (like Reiginko said), then you should be able to take these different parts and mix them together more effectively.

For instance, you could have the rock-style song be five minutes instead of the minute and a half.
