Vehicles will respawn in multiplayer right? If I remember right from the E3 2K4 multiplayer intro, the guy destroyed a warthog and it respawned. It would be really -blam!- if they didn't, because some loser would get the vehicles destroyed and ruin the vehicle aspect of the game.

They better, but I don't want it to be instant like it was, maybe like 10 seconds with a 5 second time growth. Sounds reasonable.

Oh, and also, I want to be able to set different spawn times for different vehicles.


Double posted on purpose, first time I've seen this one in a while. Unlike "FLASHBANG GRENADE" or "BRUTES ARE WEAK".

Or maybe you can customize the vehicle respawn time and growth, like you could customize the player respawn time and growth in Halo.

Yeah you will be able to it was added in Halo Pc so most likly the features that were added in the PC versions will be in Halo 2. I hope there is some kind of warning when a vehicle is responding because it is annoying to be killed by a responding vehicle.

can you take off the vehicle destruction thing in options. i wouldn't take them off, i think destructible vehicles are awesome but i was just wondering.

Yeh it should respawn...but I would love if the blown to crap pieces of the vehicle like maybe a blow up warthog frame would stay on the map and you could use that itself for more cover or w/e...unless it got to crowded with blow up ghosts and hogs...

They also need the FRC and flamethrower, but I'd turn flamethrower off for Live. Lag Much?

*edit*I read somewhere( I think in an update or ign) that a guy said he was taking cover behind a vehicle and it dissapeared, then the enemies found him and blew the crap out him.

I really want the options to control the destruction of them as well as the respawning of them. If I want to play with the physics like in the first the option is needed. I would have to try to launch a warthog only to see it blow up.


I also agree with control of the respawn times of players also. The more customizable the better in my book.

Ya, but make them respawn only when they're destroyed or (if you can turn it off) after quite a while. in pc, you would try for the flag and end up not having a vehicle cause it respawned early...

The mountain dew boys and other people who played at E3 said the vehicles didn't respawn. The respawn at E3 that you are talking about were just for the sake of the Bungie demonstration.

10 seconds?!!? that might as well be instant. atleast 60 seconds, but 90 would be better

first of all i agree with dynasty99 respawn should take about a min also in responce to a warning why not just have a dropship come by and drop the veicle at a spawn point instead of it just apearing out of thin air that would seem a little more realistic if it is a human veicle then a pelican if a covie veicle then a phantom i would also like this to be how you start out in multiplayer in large maps that would be cool

Well I think the Mt. Dew guys said it respawns at the beginning of the next round for Single Flag CTF. If you are playing Slayer, I think it should be every 2 minutes...but I hate the idea of it disappearing if it isn't used.

there better be alot of vehicles in campaigne because if your vehicle gets destroyed and it is a really big map that would be annoying having to walk the whole way
