If you got knocked offline, then he probably did. DDoSing is a serious federal offense, so contact your ISP and tell them about this incident.

Condoms.

At least I'm going into battle protected. Haha

Yea, the last thing you want is are some elites strapped your your back while a grunt massages your nuts unprotected.

If you are on a dynamic IP, reset your router. If on static, call your ISP.

@EEFREE: DDoS = Distributed Denial of Service attack.

But the thing is,he was never in any contact with me besides a few comments on a video,so how could he have gotten my IP?

@The guy who asked what DDoS is:
Distributed Denial of Service(DDoS)
Denial of Service (DoS)

If your IP address changes every.. 3 days or so, then you are on a dynamic IP. If you are on a static IP, then it is always the same.

If you have a data limit per month on your plan, then you should probably just disconnect your router, because [depending on the strength of the attack] it will be using your data up. A fairly good attack can use 16GB of data in just 2 minutes (only if your connection can DL that fast).

I had this happen to me and as soon as it happened i new what was going on. I turned off my xbox360, reset my router, unplugged it, waited 10 minutes, plugged it back in and reset it again, and it was fine.
