Because it was un fair for you to kill him (every 2-3 betrayals)

It's all down to how frequently that you betray people. You obviously betray a lot more than the people betraying you. Grifball increases your chances of being booted too, due to betrayals being quite frequent.

I don't betray people often. I rarely do at all and then it's just accidental.

Betraying close to the beginning of the match is another factor I think. Nobody knows the exact system but it's quite complex.

I also maintain that Chrome is weaksauce, and IE9 is fast and works very well

I have a great story to tell!

The other day while playing Halo 3 with a couple of friends we came across a player who must be immune to being booted. Here's why:
After finding a match of 4v4 Territories and losing badly in the first couple of rounds, our teammate began betraying us. Short story short, after the first few betrayals I could understand not getting the option to boot him, but after he had betrayed the three of us a total of ten times, we still hadn't received the option to boot him... He ended up quitting on his own.

So, from that experience, I can say the betrayal booting system works in a very mysterious way. It must have some logic behind it, but that logic has probably been kept a secret to prevent abuse of the system.

Thats the ONLY reason to play griftball.
Its one of the funest sub-playlist - get together with a friend on split screen and see who can get the most betray-boot options. Easy as with g-ball as you just need to time your jumps right.

Dont ban the betray-boot :(
