Never give up, never surrender!

I'm looking to get the PC version of Halo: Combat Evolved but I only have a Laptop. I really have two questions:

1. Will it work on a Laptop ?

2. If it does work, what are the requirements ?

If anyone can help I would appreciate it.

“Oh, it’s a little bit of everything, it’s the mountains, it’s the fog, it’s the news at six o’clock, it’s the death of my first dog, it’s the angels up above me, it’s the song that they don’t sing, It’s a little bit of everything.”
- Dawes, A little bit of everything

I have an Alienware M15x laptop (i5 540M dual core @ 2.53 GHz processor, 6GB of RAM, and an NVIDIA GeForce GT 240M graphics card, Windows 7 OS) and it runs fine.

Anyway, here are the official requirements that are on the back of the Halo CE box:
Windows (98SE/ME/2000/XP - 128 MB RAM)
Processor (733MHz)
Hard Drive (1.2 GB
Video Card (32 MB/3D T&L capable)
Other (8x CD, sound card and speakers/headphones)
Online/Multiplayer requirements (56.6 kbps modem or LAN; broadband to run a server)

If you don't know how to find the specs of your laptop, here's how to find out the most important information:
Go to the control panel, select System. This screen should show you your processor speed and RAM.

Sapphire just got even more awesome.

Works ok on my laptop (with low graphics options set), which is pretty old:

Dell Latitude D610

Windows XP Professional SP3 x86
Pentium M 760 (2.00Ghz w/ 533Mhz FSB)
1024MB (2x512) PC3200-DDR2 (400Mhz)
14.1" SXGA+ (1400x1050 resolution)
ATI Mobility Radeon X300 w/ 64MB dedicated RAM
Fujitsu 60GB HD (5400RPM)
8x DVD+/-RW (dual layer)
Intel Pro 2200 wireless (802.11 b/g)
Broadcom Gigabit Ethernet; Conexant 56K modem

So, really, it should work with any half-decent laptop.

I don't like using that at all compared to my desktop though, which I built myself:

Windows 7 Ultimate x64 - Windows XP Professional SP3 x86
Intel Core 2 Duo E8400 @3.00GHz
Gigabyte Nvidia GeForce GTS 250 (1GB GDDR3)
4GB DDR2 (Kingston- dunno model) RAM
500GB Seagate Barracuda (7200RPM)

In a nutshell. =)
