The Past Is For Reference Not For Residents

At the end of "Halo 3" legendary cutscene there is a plannet debates have gone on forever on youtube so bungie seemed a good place to ask: Any idears what the plannet is?

Dosen't say anything like that but it says that there are UNSC bases there so the friget would of probally been seen on there radar or something meaning that the master cheif would of been found returned to earth and they all lived hapily ever after

smart, interesting, seems out of place.

Official fan of Assassin's Creed, Call of Duty, (Problem with that?) Halo, and Bungie, also a total gaming junkie.

A Forerunner planet, cause if you see it yourself playing Halo on legendary difficulty, you will see a huge metal structure on the planet, that reminds me of Forerunner structures, and its NOT Onyx, its NOT the Flood homeplanet, its NOT a version of Earth from the past. Now what would be a funny Machinima is if its the RvB version of Earth. Imagine, Grif and MC, LOLx7!!!!!!!

If you need someone to test your new forge map, join The Arch. There is always some kind of playtest going on, and the community is constructive.

I'm guessing Origins I but I haven't read the books so I don't know much about it

There is a possibility that it could be Reach. I meen yeah it was glassed, but it was not destroyed. Who knows? Maybe, maybe not.

Interesting how you came up with that prediction it makes scence but it is explained on other websites how reach is to cold to live on so there could be no chance of a halo 4 or any other halo books so bungie would be stupid to leav it there

Keep in mind that if it was in UNSC space, cortana could simply have sent a distress message. The fact that they haven't already been rescued is proof that it is not in UNSC space- It's not Reach, and It's not Onyx.

And we are now back to the original question

  • 08.12.2010 9:54 AM PDT

Halo Reach - Make a prequel to the fight.
Halo CE - Begin the fight.
Halo 2 - Continue the fight.
Halo 3 - Finish the fight.
Halo 4 - Start a new fight.

It is a Forerunner planet. They created it as a Shield World to house Sentient species. It also housed sentinels which could destroy a Ship.
