I know you cant put it in a file share.But does bungie have a problem with playing custom games with it I dont use mods just have played on the maps.And why are they downloadable off of b.net if Bungie has a problem with mods?

They only have a porblem with mods on your fileshare.

They actually encourage modification of the .map files that is why on the PC they allow for all the hectic CE gaming to go on

I would argue that most mods in Halo 3 are not geared toward cheating (usermap mods, offline .map mods, etc.), but some definitely are specifically for that purpose (gamerscore mods, auto-aim, etc.). So, I wouldn't risk it if you don't want to face the consequences of getting caught (however slim they may be).

Just giving you food for thought. My guess is if you keep it offline you will be safe but if you play it online you may or may not get into trouble. You might want to ask somewhere else for clarification.
