Subject: How quick do you lose your skills

After puchasing MW2 and playing it flat out for about the last 6-7 months, I last night returned to Halo 3. I thought I had abandoned and neglected the Chief for long enough. Man, did I get a shock. After not playing the game for so long, what limited skills I had for the game were gone, I was back to noob status. So my question is, how long do you find you can not a play a game for before you loose your skills and fast finger controller memory to know the buttons to press when the heat is on. Let me know.

After a couple months of not playing anything I might find that I've gotten way worse or that I've gotten more relaxed and respond better to the game. It really depends on my mood. Also, OP is a n00b for playing MW2 when he had a perfectly good copy of Halo to play.
