Sparkle Sparkle Sparkle!

I don't get how it works. I mean, I'm not banned and I'm not complaining, but I've always been curious, how does it moniter the Halo 3 servers? Does it just, scan the servers, or does it just, automatically detect rule-breakers?

Meh, curiosity has stricken me once again.

Who'd win, a Spartan, or a Space Marine?

It probably looks for certain criteria for review, and then looks deeper in those games.

Say for example it scans over a game. Hmm, someone got a perfection, and the entire game was made up of people in the same party. Further scanning...Blue team had three people with 15 kills and zero deaths, and red team fired exactly zero shots whatsoever. HAMMERTIME

I know these are just examples - so not having a shot - but think how unfair this could be if true.

Perfection >> I invite my friends over and have a lan party (but hooked up via xbl). My mates are all newbies, and so I own the game - they are all in the same party.
A legit game - but banhammer hit what should be a friendly game.

Same deal with team imbalance - friends play together and often go for a huge unfair match-up ... total ownage.
But again, a game between friends.

Never seen the banhammer hit first hand - so always doubt it exists. But also think "who cares" ... if cheaters want to chat I dont care, it is just a game after all. Not the guys GT and quit during MM (or after if you miss it the first time).

Plus if you want to cheat - just make sure you break the pattern. I often play in LW with friends. Not to boost each other (well past caring about rank) but just cause going in as a group and having total ownage is fun ... like playing on a second account and having ownage through boot camp is fun.
