The most I ever saw in a Halo game was Halo 2, when the scarab fired its mega plasma beam into the building (awesome, but leaving a simple black spot in the wall) Then, as it walked towards you, not minding the scorpion tank stepping on it along with the walkway overpass! Just destroying everything in its path. Then later knocked over the radio tower (my favorite part. I always tried to get it to slingshot me across the map!).

Also the hanging flower pots on that one map; when shot they split in two then pour dirt out and sway back and forth was also pretty awesome. (for Halo).

But nothing like BF: BC or anything, just simple small things like big holes in walls with re bar showing and fire around it, every light can be shot out, and so on..

It would be cool even when you play a hardcore 15 minute big team social match you can go to theater and see how much of an intense game it was with fire everywhere and everthing smashed up, holes in the ground, and walls, and buildings. And you can realize how much of a hardcore game it was, and it was so much that there isn't much of the mad left.

I'm just saying that Halo seems to be the last game to have the amount of destruction it does. I mean, it's Halo! You're a Spartan pretty much trying to save the planet from doom, by an alien force and the flood!

But i'm not one to talk since I don't know what goes into making a game like Halo 3, and it's not fair to compare either.
But I'm just hoping that in Halo: Reach there will be much more destruction. But an update would obviously be too much to do, might even change the game in itself.

Oh and by the way, the mission "Halo" was pretty impressive with the giant falling beams and such. I have it that..

What do you think?

☆ Want a pot of Gold? >:D ☆

Umm.. dude Battlefield: Bad Company was released back in 2008, while Halo 3 was released in 2007. Their both two different game engines.

2008 Battlefield Bad Company = Frostbite Engine = New.
2007 Halo 3 = Halo Engine = Old.

Obviously BF:BC & 2 Has better and newer graphics.
Because it was released after halo 3 did.

And Halo: Reach will have better graphics because they will update the games engine.. simple.

In multiplayer? I doubt it.

"You build on failure. You use it as a stepping stone. Close the door on the past. You don't try to forget the mistakes, but you don't dwell on it. You don't let it have any of your energy, or any of your time, or any of your space." -Johnny Cash

Halo is fine the way it is. We don't need it to be like any other game.

I'm JP, and I am a nine month veteran of the Dropshock Brigade. My interests are not only in gaming but sports and hobbies such as football, hockey, airsoft, and baseball. I started playing Halo when I was four years old, and I hoping that Halo 4 will become a great game and successor to the previous halos.

This, though I like the Phantom blowing up on Invasion when the Spartans win.

I don't mean better graphics, just more stuff you can blow up.
