Congrats... it's great to see persistence paying off! You really feel like it's an earned achievement when you keep working at it and gradually getting better until you finally nail it.
I think I've only finished a single Halo level on Legendary... it's just too much for me. I've finished all four Campaigns on Heroic, and that was satisfying enough for me. A constant cycle of death and respawning takes out all my fun. Even without Campaign Scoring on, I still kinda subconsciously keep track of how long ago my last death was. I like to keep my guys alive as long as possible, and playing on Heroic keeps me from mindless running and gunning. I play more of a guerilla style, knowing that I'll get my head shot off if I poke it out too far or too often. Since my aiming skills haven't improved much over the years (probably because I'm old and don't spend a lot of time and effort on improving them), I've plateaued at Heroic. Halo:CE was my first FPS, so I started that Campaign on Easy for a couple levels, then restarted it on Normal and finished it. Then I redid it on Heroic. I've played every game since on Heroic and it feels just right, if for no other reason than it keeps the game from being finished too fast.
