Oke i know halo 2 looks awesome but keep in mind those movies/demos are played at TV's which are top notch. What bothers me is that when i have my xbox connected to my tv which probably wont be bigger then my 15 inch tv, how good or worse will it look? This is a very confusing fact

[Edit:] I mean look at the stuff Franky is writing in his story, it makes me depressed.I am already working my ass of to get me the stupid xbox so i can play halo 2, but could a tv( click this link then go the the Davio model) screw the whole experience for me?I know graphics dont add much to the gameplay but they do to the game's experience.I'd like an answer so my worries can be put to a rest...*eyes start twitching heavily

Halo 2 will look great even for a 15 inch....The only problem I see is with very old tv's.. I have a 21 inch Samsung in my room with 5:1 sound and it works fine! I'm sure the size won't effect the overall quality of Halo 2.

WHY are you buying that Davio? Is it like $25 or something? Look, if picture quality is your concern, you're on the right track to go with a traditional "Tube" TV, since they still offer the best image quality--better than DLPs, LCDs, LCD rear-projections, or anything else (well, the tube HDTVs, anyway). However, HDTVs offer the 480P progressive scan funcition, which does sharpen thing up quite a bit. There are several Tube TVs that are HDTV, and they have the best picture quality; I assume that these are out of your price range, though. Nevertheless, even if you DON'T get an HDTV, get TV that has COMPONENT inputs--this is a specific term and so its the same for all brands--if it doesn't have COMPONENT video inputs, DON'T buy it, it's that simple. COMPONENT cables enable more detail and greater color depth, even on non-HDTVs. As for size, I personally wouldn't get anything less than 27", but if the picture is good QUALITY, your game experience won't suck just because it's smaller. It would help if you could tell us how much you have to spend, so I could probably recommend a TV in your range (I've personally Halo-tested several), but for Tube TVs you cannot beat a Sony.

Oops--I probably should have PM'd this post.
