Hey Bungie..just a suggestion..but instead of MLG...well MLG tourny's will still be played..but once a year I think there should be like a 1 on 1 Halo 2 Challenge once a year in certain cities.
The rules will go as follows [sort of like the Madden challenge..www.maddenchallenge.com]
There will be a rookie challenge..people with a rank of 20 or under..and you can determine what peoples ranks are by getting their gamertag..and you can get proof it is their correct gamertag by their personal info..or something. And there will be a total of 75 available Rookie Challenge slots..and there are 5 reserved slots for walk-up people..people who do not own a credit card and have to register on-site..and there will be a lottery to see who wins 1 of the 5 slots.
Then you will be given a number that will be stamped on your hand...the lowest number gets to choose the map. Whoever wins the Rookie Challenge will get a Halo 2 life-size statue.
For the pro division..which is for people level 21-40 [40+ are probably boosters...BOO]. They will be divided by rank..so a 21 will face a 22..and a 25 will face a 24..or 26...until they get deep in the challenge. Same rules as rookie challenge...this time the highest number gets to choose the map and the score goes up to 10.
This will happen once a year in select cities..maybe all 50 or not..but for the prize of the pro division..they'll win a trip to the Bungie studios..or whatever place near the studios that can setup a number of XBOX's so the champions can play..and the winner of that will win 25,000.
Can a mod..ninja..or someone else send me a private message saying its either a good idea..a helpful idea..or a bad idea? Thanks...and I ask for a PM because I will not be on the forums all this week...peace out
