A noble effort. This is definately a threat to the whole online community....

The moderators and others here do not really work for Bungie/Gearbox. However, they probably know who'd be best to contact.

yoo•zel- ('yoo-zhul): slang: vb.

Officium quod Fidelitas.

I'm almost 100% sure that this is an issue Gearbox will have to fix since Bungie does not offer support for Halo Pc. I will be checking on this as soon as some Bungie contacts come online.

this is a big threat for everyone. not only in bungie. But to our clans and the rest of the online comunity. this has to be stopped. people try to keep this in the front page. im almost sure that members from the bungie team skim through the forums periodically.

May I ask a completely noob, stupid question? What is an aimbot? Also, how do I know if I am encountering one? I am assuming by the name that it improves a players aim, giving them an unfair advantage, but I have never heard this term before. I am not a total dumbass (well, actually sometimes I am), but am new to online gaming, so if someone could explain or direct me to a link with some info I would greatly appreciate it.

Thanks, sorry to disturb.

Cheers.

Worry not,it`s a newby question...between the term noob and newb a difference exists...learn that...as fr Aimbots they are a cheap little program that not only improves your aim but garanties the user a headshot all the time...it just automaticly puts the projectile u fire in the head of the enemy even if your targeting reticle is way off...or at least thats what i know about aimbots...a-holes use them in CounterStrike all the time.

Thanks for the response. That sounds just terrible. As if TKing was not bad enough, now we have straight-up cheaters to worry about.

What is this world coming to?

Man...I think I'll have to refute my "live with em" statement. This is certainly something that can't be ignored or dealt with...

As for all you spammers out there, at least you're doing something useful by bumping this thread. Too bad that's probably all you'll be good for, though...

Yoozel... Im 100% positive now that bungie supports halo pc. Gearbox only supports halo ce. If you're a mod I'd expect you to know this no offense.

Well yah...patches and stuff we take from bungie.net...so in conclusion bungie don`t care about the experiences we get during online play since the only thing they patch is some lame-ass security crud...
