If I would buy Halo 2 PC and install it and then down the road buy a new computer, would I still be able to run my single copy of Halo 2 on multiple computers or is each key code tied to one specific computer?

Yes, you may need to call support, thats how my friend got the game, he installed it to his laptop, and used my key, we can even play together. But its a bit of a pain as your most likely going to speak from someone in the middle east. (shivers)

Yes, I am a hypocrite, and I'm sorry. I really do mean well, but I'm not running on all cylinders.

Everytime someone buys a copy of Halo 2 Vista, a puppy dies.

There's also an undocumented limit to how many times you can install the game before the product key is invalidated. It may be replaced once by GFWL support.

This is a little off topic, but now that you brought it up, once you reactivate it, will it expire again?

I think the limit is like 5? Once it's used five times good luck getting through support to get it working again.

You go through the same process again, and GFWL won't give you another key, right node357?

So do they just expect you to buy the game again?

Yes they do.
They punish honest customers by doing this, GFWL is very ignorant to the fact that their DRM sucks balls.

This is the average H2 Fanboy.

50 in H2/H3? Great, but you still fail at this.

They use a steam-style DRM in newer games however. It's more effective then their old DRM, which not only had a limit, but had a huge exploit in it.
