Hello, I have played my fair share of halo 3 matches, I keep noticing something. I do really well and get MVP, however my team mates do not do as well and we as a team end up losing the match.

Does anyone agree with me that if a player on the losing team in a social match gets MVP he/she should get an experience point?

Winner of the 2012 Lurker of the Year award.

I'm watching you.

No. That would defeat the whole purpose of it being a team game. Work together, win the game, get exp.

Couldn't have said it better myself.

So its the good players fault if the other players are horrible? The good player should not be penelized because the bad players can not play up to par.

If you have issues with your team then play with friends and just because you get MVP does not mean your team didn't help you get there.

i agree but what if the teammates are terrible and dont listen to the other players. i have lost highest skill plenty of times in mlg but i am mvp of the entire game. i dont think the mvp should be penalised if they have 15+ more kills than the player in 2nd place on their team

Exactly, I once played a match where my 3 of my team mates all got like 2 kills and died around 6 times each, then quit. I carried the other guy who was left and ended it with 50 (them, full team)36 (us) I had 28 of the kills, So its my fault our team lost?

No, but you don't understand that when you play with a team with people you don't know you are taking a risk and those are the consequences. Also Reach is mainly based off individual skill so you will probably like that more than Halo 3.

Yes they should, team or not MVP is MVP..lose or win..And because sometimes you are not playing with friends and you are placed randomly with other, you should gain EXP it proves your own talent..and those who got no points get no EXP..that I think is fair..Even though MVP is always so awesome if your team did lose..

I also maintain that Chrome is weaksauce, and IE9 is fast and works very well

It will be interesting to see how opinions have changed.

-I was just looking at the Halo 3 forum around the time I joined Bungie.net and happened to see that post.
