Arrogant hyperbolic exclamations of woe? Seems like a normal day for Halo/Bungie.net.

You know that if you a xbox 360 you can put the disc for normal xbox games in it. But you need xbox live. Like halo 2 its for normal xbox if you have live it will work trust me. :)

That only works for games Microsoft found popular enough to port them to 360.

Don't -blam!- with Kerser!

Hey guys! I need help!

This is my setup

All I use for Internet is that white box. I do not have a modem and a router and a dcard or whatever, all that stuff it was saying in the tutorial. That white box sitting on my TV just connects to everything wirelessly and is plugged into a power source, and I have unlimited data with 10 mbps download speed.

How would I use XBConnect with that. It's called a Vividwireless Home gateway

Your phone is your computer so you would have to see if you can dl the xbconnect software. If you can then at that point it should be the same as a laptop where you do not use a modem.

I don't know what the white box is, whether it acts as a hub or router or if it has it's own firewall (which could stop you from connecting).

I'm not an expert in this but it seems logical to see if xbconnect is a downloadable app first and work from there.

That first link seems to only be an advertisement, is that what this is all about?

Brown chicken, brown cow!!!!

Found XBConnect searching the internet one day, was always wondering if there were enough players to make it worthwhile. Was also wondering about the map packs that were offered. The last day Halo 2 was available online, somehow Bungie corrupted all the files and I no longer have the Halo 2 maps, are there ways to get them? Would love to give this a try after I get moved. Any info would be much appreciated.

I didn't get the phone with mine.

I will explain. It is a white box. With 2 Ethernet and 2 phone connections. It has a power plug that goes to the power. It is completely wireless and connects to hubs around the city. You cannot use a router, or modem with it.

Please...stop getting butthurt when I noscope you from the passenger seat of the vehicle I'm riding in :D

You should probably mention, you can't use a mixed connection. Ex: Can't have wired Xbox360 to router and Wireless from computer to router. It just doesn't work.

Man I've tried everything and looked at multiple forums to set this up. Everything is set up correctly, my 360 is found on XBC but when I enter a game on my computer it just never shows up on my Halo 2 screen.

Sucks.

Have you checked your NAT,Firewall or Port Forwarding?
