It's a lot of fun if your connected to a host that is close to your location.
The only down side is with Halo:CE you can only connect a total of 4 Xbox/Xbox 360's at one time, but you can have up to 4 players on each Xbox/Xbox 360.

I have a 360 so what are the steps for a 360 then? Also, i have a different router on my mac. Airport extreme. Any help on how to do this on my mac for my 360 would really help. Thnx

if I have a 360 and a wireless adaptor can I use those? or do I need to have my 360 next to the modem and use a wire?

I am unfamiliar with MAC and XBC, but if you get it to work let us know. Ill be glad to add it to the OP.
The setups for the Xbox 360 are the same as the Original Xbox.

I have added a link to wireless network setup instructions. Hope that helped out.

Let me get this straight. xbox connect only works with ethernet cables. Also, the wireless conenction is from xbox orig not 360. Try to get some easier directions to follow and answer posts on here that are questions and i will be glad to play ce online all the time.
I really wanna play online.

I'm not an expert with XBC or wireless networks. So I cannot say without a doubt that it will work with wireless connections. I just find and provide the best source of info on the subject I can find, so the Bnet community has quick easy access to that info.

I have also updated the thread with info on wireless networks and that all network setups should work with both Orig Xbox and Xbox 360.

Wireless on both a computer and xbox connected to the same router WILL allow you to play over xbc. You will, however, experience more lag.

Yep. Its not a mod, its a program that runs on your PC.
