Im getting reaaaal angry with being hit offline, Playing on my second account on lone wolves, and just because i winning by a large margin in the last game, i havent disconnected normally in years on my connection, yet today ive disconnected 4 times in about an hour, which means im being hit offline, because i keep having to reset my router everytime i disconnect, which are symptoms of being hit offline. Anyone else having this problem?
Sorry for the rant, its just a tad annoying.

How do you know someone is hitting you offline? As for the symptoms...you get disconnected. Sometimes you can sign back in right away, sometimes you cant.

I highly doubt you are being "hit offline". Is your IP address static? There are very few people with static IPs, and those that have them are people with ATT U-Verse. And every time you are resetting your router, the supposed bots that are flooding you would end the attack, because your IP address has been taken off the grid.

So unless you have a static IP, and somebody is just constantly resending bots your way, its your own connections fault. Try calling your ISP. While they may not be entirely helpful, they may have a few tips for you.

it may just be a glitchy account

e.g. my account and my brothers run off the same router, my brother has perfect connection yet mine nearly always sucks, even happens when we're in the same game sometimes on social slayer

I doubted i was being hit offline as well on the first time, but i rarely disconnect anyway, and i was getting suspicious when i've disconnected 4 times in a short space of time when i rarely ever do. Seriously, i can't honestly remember the last time my Live disconnected, so 4 times in one night just made me feel suspicious i was being hit offline or something.

That's because you are both using the upload bandwidth and he is probably a direct connection or right beside the transmitter...

Exactly. You can fix this by directly connecting into the modem.

ShadierLiam:

Screenshot artist, Map Creator, Screenshot Teacher. Nice to meet you :)

Unfortunately because Bungie is so focussed on reach at the moment, some members of the halo 3 community realise this, and so they break all the rules, thinking Bungie won't notice.
Like the people that Jtag flaming armour, and a Aimbot, also like you just mentioned the host booters.
You're going to have to deal with it until reach im afraid. Hopefully in reach, Bungie will have fixed this problem.

My connection.

I am bad, so tell me as much as you want.
Halo 3: Doubles 50. Slayer 50. Ranked Griffball 50. MLG 50.

Call your ISP, it is more likely to be something to do with your connection than someone hitting you offline.

and he will have to deal with it after too because its a connection problem even if he doesn't want to admit it...

And you're trolling, why? All i'm saying is that my connection has always been good to me, and im just surprised it has suddenly crumbled in around 2 hours. So i'd appreciate if you didn't troll me for no reason. Its unnecessary.
