Okay, I'm just going to put this here since it's still on the front page and it's only small this week.
Week in Review (18th September 2005)
It's time to focus on Chapter Founders again. So, without further ado:
Chapter Founders has been steadily getting more active ever since the revitalisation began. But it's still nowhere near back to full health again. Now's your chance to help and contribute to the cause. All members are invited to submit news, conduct sensible interviews or even write new articles for the Chapter. See details here, and get to work!
If you want an alternative place to advertise your chapter, Banshee Barron provides with our own Mini-Classifieds.
With Chapter reviews in full flow, check them out here. Reviews are maintained by Kappin. Don't forget to submit your own Chapter for review in this thread.
We've had a couple more theme ideas submitted recently.
noge1989 suggests Covenant, ODST, and Multiplayer themes.
Twinfire0 has begun work on his own Covenant theme. See what he has so far here!
In Fanfic news, http://myth.bungie.org has recently added four new stories which you can read, amongst various others, here. And be sure to check out the brand new Fanfiction Group if you're looking to post your own fanfic for reading by a dedicated audience, or if you just want a good read.
HBO has recently updated with a number of news articles covering more of the community. And thanks to a post by Louis quoting Joe Staten, we can safely dispel the rumours suggesting Uwe Boll will become director of the Halo movie; if you don't see it here (i.e. Bungie.net news), it certainly isn't official.
Sadly, we say some goodbyes. First and foremost, to the great yeroen (Max Hoberman), second member of Bungie.net, founder of Chapter Founders and The Marty Army. While he continues to work for Bungie, we've lost one of the 7th Column's very best. Secondly, wave goodbye to BFO (http://www.bungiefansonline.com). In it's short existence as part of the grand Bungie community, it received over a thousand quality posts and brought all kinds of members and personalities together on a brand new medium. Salute the site here, and maybe, just maybe, we'll see it back some day.
That about concludes this week. Don't forget to send all queries and Week in Review/Chapter Founders submissions to cfounders@gmail.com.
This article brought to you by Chapter Founders, the original hawt spot for help with Chapters and all things concerning them. Come visit us for the most in-depth help you can find anywhere on the 7th Column.
