Jay doesn't think the topic is -spam!- anyway. Jay thinks it's better than the topic-free threads some one creates every once in a while, and suggests lightening up.

Jay agrees with Goweb, this language is an interesting mixture. As impure as it is, its abundancy of versatile constructs and inconsistent patterns adopted from many sources allow for brain-tickling ambiguities.

Do you always speak in third person?

If your first language was English, it will be very difficult for you to learn other languages. English is very unorganized, and contradicting in many ways. It is most widespread, because the British people from the UK conquered many lands, and set up colonies world-wide, more than any other land. Except maybe Spain. But thats why Mexico speaks Spanish and a lot of counties down there too.

By the way, how do you get your font to be invisible?

Darken Nut:

Jay does that on this particular forum. The reason is not told directly, but no real great effort is given to hiding it either.

Edit: Wait, who's using invisible ink? Jay's using a browser that shows all your text the same way, even if you use the colour markups. Jay doesn't see the invisible ink- er, uh... Jay sees it, but no differently from all the other text.

Opinions are like arseholes - everybody has one.

Knowledge is knowing Tomato is a fruit. Wisdom is not putting it in a fruit salad.

There is no such thing as a bad decision, only good decisions based on flawed information.

"Bastardisation", what a brilliant word Goweb. I'm going to have to start using that... back to the topic and i have to say that's one of the most clever things I've seen on these forums. Damn funny too!

English isn't the hardest language to learn. In fact, I read somewhere that it is the easiest language to learn of all the languages in the world.
And it's true that english "steals" words from almost every other language. I think I read somewhere that english has taken words from every language that english people have come in contact with. Almost every other language also steals as many words it can.

A weird thing with word stealing is that the english word "window" comes from the viking words "vind oe", which meant "wind eyed" (probably not. I can't find the english translation of the swedish word vindöga) and window. But in swedish, that the viking language evolved into, "window" means "fönster", which comes from french.
