Subject: Why is there AR's in Team BR's?

People like you I find annoying. Just because it's team BR's doesn't mean you have to use the BR, the AR is for rushing the BR is for mid-long range combat not close so thats why you have an AR. AR for close BR for long use 'em right.

People would get better if they were forced to use the BR and Pistol combo......... AR = bad habits... Bad habits = hard to break once learned

Forcing people to never learn how to use the spray and pray close quarters weaponry would lead to bad habits as well. When you are killed by one, it's not them being a "noob" for using one, it's your being outplayed by a better prepared opponent.

How would the using the AR become a bad habit? I admit it's not the best weapon for getting kills but when rushing into the enemy base I prefer to use an AR.

The bad habit is getting the person into the mindset of being close to get a kill. So a person started to feel accustom to always being close to win a battle, they start camp.

Camping leaves your teammates out to dry more times than not and causes the players to rarely pick up a longer ranged weapon.

If you can so narrow minded to see how this affects players. LOOK AT EVERYONE AR CHAMP THAT CAN'T REACH A 50.

They get in their ways "bad habits" and never want to leave their bubble.

ARing is extremely effective at close quarters. I don't know why people consider it a bad tactic. It's only bad when it's used excessively to the point where you're constantly rushing people and getting killed.

Same thing with the BR. It's intended for around medium-range, not close-range. The smart AR will always beat a BR at close-range, no questions asked.

AR bullets do more damage but they don't have a headshot bonus. BR bullets do less damage, but once they drop your shields, they can finish you off instantly with a headshot.

You have to use each of these weapons to their full advantage or else you're going to get wrecked by ARs at close range.

Or every gametype he plays has AR primary on spawn and he wants to use something DIFFERENT and have more variety in gameplay other than RUSHING and SPRAYING.

no rules saying you have to rush and spread at the start of every game.

That's my point. if you get a new player to the game a weapon that gives them the ability to fight close quarters that's all they know.

If the AR was a pick up weapon in BR started, more players would be better and the average game wouldn't be so brokenly unbalanced.

Very good points but is that really a bad thing. Yes, you won't be able to help your team mates but if you're still getting kills, then it shouldn't problem kills are kills no matter how you get them.
