Subject: How can I find the right sensitivity?

I played on 2 Sensitivity for 3 years. It got me to 50 in two playlists, and most of my stats to 45+. However, I'm just mediocre on the scale of people who are 50's. I decided that 2 was too slow, and tried 3. Still not fast enough.

tried 4. was okay but felt weird.

Tried 6. still weird

7 felt too fast

8 feels okay???

9-10 too fast

so like wtf. how can i find the right one? 2 is wayyy too slow now

Better luck next time buddy.

Well I play on 4 and it fits every playlist IMO, just constantly play with the same sensitivity and don't always change it so you'll get used to it.

I agree, it's about picking one and sticking too it. I use 2 whenever I'm in matchmaking. However, I find that for campaign/ firefight I like to kick it up to 4 or 5. I realize my advice and my practice don't exactly mix.

Just stay with 2, three years is a long time.

I don't know why people feel the need to constantly up their sensitivity, there's plenty of people with straight 50s who use 2 sens.

I play on a 3 and find it absolutely perfect, except for the extreme close-range BR battles. Solution? Don't get into those kinds of battles.

Same thing with you. If you're really twitchy and move your joystick around a lot, then a low sensitivity would benefit you more. If your thumbs are a lot more careful and precise, then a higher sensitivity is the way to go.

Start out at 5 and play on it for a few days. Bump it up or down, then go into more matches. That's how I found my perfect sensitivity.

You forgot about 5. Right now I'm using it and it feels just about right. I'll probably bump it up to 6 when Reach comes out.

A MAN WANDERING THE WORLD WITH A PURPOSE, HAS NO REASON TO BE WANDERING AT ALL.

Just play on all of them, and after a while one will start to jump out at you more then the rest..

When in doubt, barrel roll out

Ive been using 5 but i just switched to 4 because i coulndnt get any br kills but in the beta my sensitivity was 7

When i first started playing i used 2, then after two or three months i bumped it up to 4 and been using it since then..i would say just use whatever sensitivity your most accurate with, then slowly work your way up.

Fire up Halo 3, and get a friend who has decent BR skills. Then set the ammunition to infinite, put on BR starts on Octagon, and try out the sensitivities.

do 5. and every game, put it down or up, get used to a set sensitivity. I can do 7, but if i dont play for about 2 weeks, i need to go back to 5...

Hates to love and loves to hate.

I use five, not too high, not too low, right in the middle.

Shut the hell up, Halo is my world

Stick with one and get used to it.

I would recommend 4 to anyone.

make a forge map with 4 small objects that form the corners of a square. get a br and shoot them all in a pattern. do it as fast as you can that doesnt ruin your aim. keep it at that setting.

all sensitivity is is a ratio. reaction time to aim. if you aim can handle a 8, put it at 8 because your reaction time will improve which means more kills for you.

if you can only handle a 2, then put it at 2, because while your reaction time may suffer, your aim will make up for it, and you may get turned around and pull a 4-shot before the other guy kills you.
