4v4 capture the flag at Damnation

Ratrace: 150% health, no shields, no radar, no little green triangles above friendly people's heads, human weapons, generic weapon start, teams, 5 lives. I have heard that this is a fun game type, and is good if someone is better than others, just take away one of his teammates, leaving his team with less lives overall. I am going to try this at my LAN tomorrow. It is also said that it is a race to the active camo.

4v4 capture the flag at blood gulch, 3-5 captures to win, all vehicles

If there is a big difference between who's the best and who's the worst, games such as the next two are good just for fun, no competition, as it doesn't take much skill. I have never tried it.

Chiron: Shotguns, no shields, no radar, free for all

50% health, no shields, all weapons. This way, even the worst of players can have a chance to win. I have never played these, but have heard they are good for balancing the noobs to the pros.

Naw. If you just wanna mess around after you're done your deathmatches, I recommend this:

Arrange your settings up so the gametype is race, and only Warthog vehicles. It's not really a race the way we play. We basically do bumper cars. When you do the gametype, you automatically get 4 Warthogs. You have no idea how much fun it gets, fighting it out just for a stupid warthog, and as soon as you win the firefight, you get smushed by another warthog. It's hilarious ^^

Just tell your buds not to go for the points. Just smash each other in the warthogs... We like to do no shooting... but after, it gets retarded and we resort back to hit and runs.

Oddball, but no one can shoot, only melee. That's fun as hell. Have to do it in a small map of course, like Wizard.

This is a game I used to cal "Hunters" or "Team Hunters" if you use the team variant.

GameType: Slayer
There is an option for "Kill in order" meaning that the game will assign you a target that you need to kill, this is done by showing you thier name on the screen, whenever you kill your target, you get a point. Also, change radar such that only your objective is shown on the motion tracker: this means that when you are near you "target" they will always show up on your motion sensor (even if they dont move!), but it also means that nothing else (moving or not) will appear on you motion sensor. Make sure you disable all waypoint navigation, because this makes it too easy.

The fun part about this game is that if you stay alive for a while, you will be everyone else's target! ( a good way to handicap the more skilled players). Set A time limit to 15 minutes and play it on a small-medium sized maps. Most kills at the end wins. Try it on teams and on FFA!

You will be surprised how much fun this game variant is!

Im glad you like it. I hope I remebered all of the options...

I used to play that on Xbox Connect a long time ago, and most people seemed to enjoy it.

You might also consider some classics:

-Rocket-Ball on Prisoner (my favorite!) 2-5 minutes to win.
-Crazy King on Hang'em high
-CTF Shotguns on Battle Creek (w/wo shields), no radar, flag return on touch / 10 seconds.
