In the last half an hour, I saw two threads where people were telling the OP that "achievement boosting" is wrong and you can get banned. What will they get banned from? Bungie.net? Halo 3 on Xbox LIVE? Or even Xbox LIVE itself? This doesn't make sense, it's mentally challenged. People just want to get the achievements. I see how modding achievements is bad, or "boosting" your level, but what about achievement boosting? If "achievement boosting" is bad, then getting 3 friends to play Halo on Legendary for the only for the Vidmaster achievement should also be bad.

Never say you're bored. Never say you're satisfied with the world. Never stop doubting or questioning things. Always wonder. Always think. But always take time to drop your guard, you don't have to be smart all the time.

Halo 3, they know all.

"Achievement boosting" is not against the rules.

Nobody has ever been banned for "Achievement boosting". People are usually stupid enough to try to get them illegitimately in such a way that they fill the criteria for EXP boosting, and that's what they get banned for - EXP boosting.

The Vidmaster requires that you have four people in order to unlock it.

The LW achievements and the rest of the MP achievements (minus a few that require actual teamwork) are not supposed to be earned by just asking friends to help you get them, they are supposed to be earned by yourself using your own skills.

If you can't respect my opinion, that's your problem.

And on that note, except for a few (Steppin' Razor, Overkill, Two for One), they're all relatively simple.
Basically, achievement boosting is bad because you're admitting that you need help to play the game.

Nope, they are just banned from earning EXP.

somewhere in the heavens...they are waiting. I love the Marathon Trilogy.
Halo CE will always be the best game in the Halo franchise. What a perfect game.
(Proud LONGTIME owner of the PC and Xbox versions of Halo CE)

Achievements can take away the joy in a game IMO, its sometime not very fun to play with someone who is just getting achievements.....

As much as it pains me to say this, Dazarobbo is correct.

Achievment boosting is like the honor system. Then again, they're going to ruin everyone else's experience by going 0/20 because they were trying to get Mongoose Mowdown. I haven't done it before, but I can say I've purposely walked in front of a few 'Gooses in my Lone Wolves career.

I am part of Forerunner Conflict, it is a war sim clan that has been going on for 5 years, if you would like to join or learn more about it feel free to message me

the only reason idont like achievement boosting is because it is unfair for the people who got them all legitally
