Has anyone figured out a concrete layout to the spawns traps or are they random? Or is there some kind of algorithm thats used or what?

Ive spent alot of time tryin to figure it out,lol

There's an algorithm. I found out one, but it's for TS on The Pit. The first team to die at the Rocket Spawn respawns at the Sniper Tower opposite the other team. As for Guardian, I haven't figured that one out yet.

Ooh, I love those people, the ones who decide to throw everything and the kitchen sink at you, as if an M16 does anything to a T-90. Oh, MLG player with noobtube instead? Congrats! You blew off one of my ablative plates!

Gun, meet Bad Guy.
Bad Guy, this is Gun.

Now that you mention it, yeah I guess he is. I got that Pit algorithm off of pure observance.

They don't have a trap function really in TS, you can spawn control because to many spawn points are open in Guardians.

The best placement for controlling Guardians is. S2/Elbow, Tree (but on short stump, not the tree, on the tree opens the spawn point behind you), S2/S3 and a perfect control has a guy on Inviz. (The inviz guys nulls almost all gold spawns. Leaving only 4 spawns on the map.

Both Blue spawns, Top and Bot mid. The point of a spawn control is to NOT MOVE very far. Once one of those guys move, they open their spawn points.

There's a thread on mlgpro.com that has the information you seek.

You couldn't really force spawns on the v6 of Guardian but you can in the current settings.

Not sure about Team Slayer, its not that important to dictate spawns in a slayer game on that type of map.

well first you need to know the spawn points. secondly you need to know what positively and negatively effects a spawn point. such as a player is least likely to spawn near an opponent or the spot they died at. they are more likely to spawn near teammates. also things like line of sight and danger level effect spawns.

so for example if your team controls snipe tower and green, the enemy is more likely to spawn in gold and blue. but if you start overtaking every spawn point, the other team will start getting weird spawns, such as right behind you

They usually spawn at Blue. I don't think I've ever seen them spawn bottom or top mid.
