Subject: Why do my bullets have half the power of everyone else's?

This hasn't always been a problem for me but lately my bullets simply don't have nearly as much power as other players. I'm accurate and I'm getting the hit confirmations (shield blip) but it takes about 7-8 headshots with the battle rifle to kill people and I am constantly getting 4-shoted from halfway across sandtrap. wtf? Is this some derivative of lag? I just don't understand why this just suddenly started happening.

The 2 best Visa Credit Card jokes.
Halo 2- 55$
Xbox 360- 400$
Xbox Live- 45$

No Scoping a kid in the face who had the sword and hearing his squeeky voice go WHAT THE----as his voice gets cut out.

4 shot = Head shot

7 shot = Body shot

Hit them in the head with the BR. The BR is worthless unless you can do this. You may say "I am hitting them in the head..." Watch your film closely and look at all the bullets that fly by them.

Three things to do:
1) Play Octogan
2) Lower your sensitivity by 1 Point (unless on 2)
3) Watch film, you could possibly not be leading your shots.

They don't have to. Only the final shot has to be a headshot.

try three body shots, and one head

dont worry about it, getting "4-shoted" is a strategy that pros use
it means 3 body shots and one headshot, while when you are just constantly headshotting it takes a few more shots

I use the Master Pro 4 shot. It's getting four headshots instead of three body and one head.

;)

Not really.

A 4-shot, means you've killed someone in 4 shots. You CAN still 4-shot someone in the head( meaning no body shots) to kill them. The head is simply a smaller target hence why people generally aim 3 shots on the body(or neck area preferably) and 1 in the head.

It's not a strategy. It is simply the fewest amount of shots you can "BR" someone to death with. This implies the player has good accuracy.

Listen to all of the people that said aim for the body until you have your opponent's shields down. Its a much bigger target and reduces the risk of stray bullets. Also lead your shots, more and more as you get away from your target. At long range your reticule should be nearly adjacent to the target. In laggy games, lead even more.
