Ya, riot, shocksites are against the forum rules.

I am looking to buy a new HDTV. I have around $650 to spend, and preferably the TV is around 40 inches.

Looking for a TV that is excellent to play Halo on, with quickest response time as possible.

The TV I have been looking at is 6.5ms response time. Is that noticeable? Will it affect your Halo gaming?

Well thanks, any help would be appreciated. And if this is the wrong forum could a mod please lock it or move it.

Any HDTV with a response rate of 5ms or under should make for a great HDTV - virtually no TV lag.

40" is too big. I like my 36. and I like 26's even better.

anything 5ms delay or under.

Well I enjoy playing competitively, but I enjoy movies too, which is why I want around 40 inches and a quick response time TV.

Response time =/= input lag.

For some reason, people always get those mixed up, but they are two entirely separate things.

Do yourself a huge favor and cut that 650$ of yours in half and invest into a monitor to play on.

I bough mine LG 22' 1080P LED with HDMI output 2ms response for 300$.

Any HDTV will have over 5ms response and IMO is not worth playing on.
