Subject: Assassination and Katanas

Days go by as war time dies. Feeling of the wolf, haunting the ever lasting resort. Eyes on the sheep of shameless animals. Fear in no eyes of both sides to define the very word of hate of lost instead of fear of death. Rise against the other wolfs and throw away the shame. As a lone wolf, or a wolf pack, feast on the sheep's of hatred. We fight against the greatest, and live on without regret. We are Spartans of the human race.

Everyone should already know about the assassination in Halo:Reach. And everybody knows about the katana in Halo 3. What if they put both of those together and you can assassinate people with a katana? >:D Slash them from behind like a TRUE SPARTAN. A katana was only for appearences but if we was able to use it, it would be crazy. Do you think this is a good idea? Or do you think this is a bit too much?

um... spartans didnt use katana's they used short swords and spears (wich is why i dont understand why they put one in halo 3) and this would go in Reach

but no i dont think it would be a good idea because then every one is going to be using it and it wouldnt be as "cool" any more...

sorta like recon

I think it would be cool, but only as an assassination. Otherwise.. what carls murder said. Also, I think it should be random when you use it. like 30% of the time or something.

-Sic transit gloria mundi

This isn't really the appropriate forum...
But anyway, the katana and the hayabusa armor set is in Halo 3 to commemerate Bungie's work with Team Ninja, the guys that make Dead or Alive and Ninja Gaiden.
As you may recall, in Dead or Alive 4, Spartan Nicole-458 was a playable character.
So, in tribute, Bungie created the Hayabusa armor and katana after Ryu Hayabusa, the main character of Ninja Gaiden and a frequent character in Dead or Alive.

True, but the question its: if bungie can put a option like effects, voice, etc, Opcions or Choise of How you Assasinate the enemy... Like how someon said with the katana but with an option. not with an armor.

Laughing At Nothing

How does that have anything to do with Halo 1?

Well put, Quagga. I lock onto anyone with a Katana and lock stock and barrel, they're done. It's like the intellivision game, "Lock and Chase"... somehow reminds me of Loch Lomand or Loch Ness.

Kill them all & let god sort them out

good idea nerd. You nggas cant get 1000 gamerpoitns from Halo 3 alone so you gotta buy the mythic pack. Losers.
