Subject: Halo 2 Map Packs Won't Budge.

So I've got the new Xbox 360 Slim and I started to move all my items from my old Xbox 360 to my new one when I come up on my Halo 2 files. Naturally I attempt to move all the items but it won't do anything. I then tried to move each item 1 by 1 to my new Xbox and the only option it gave me was delete.

I don't know what to do anymore. I have to give my old Xbox 360 to my friend since I sold it to him but I still want the old maps from Halo 2.

Check out my youtube channel. http://www.youtube.com/user/ultratog1028

It's a problem with original xbox files, they don't transfer.

You can't transfer LIVE content from original games console to console. If you want the maps (minus Tombstone and Derelict) go onto amazon or ebay and buy the "Halo 2 Multiplayer Map Pack" it includes all the DLC maps besides the two I listed.

Thanks everyone, I really appreciate the advice.

I already have the map pack disc. It's just that those 2 maps will haunt me for the rest of my life.

I guess I could always just play Halo 2 on my PC. They might have remakes of those two maps but then, I don't know why my copy of Halo 2 ( Vista) won't work on my laptop. (Windows 7)

There's usually an error. Something about running Halo 2 and Xbox Live at the same time =\

The Flood Revolution is coming...

You could just keep your hard drive and leave it plugged into the new system and just use it the same way you always have. I keep my 20GB plugged in to save and read from it.

i beleive if you buy a tranfer cable you can move them from your xbox to the computer and then to your new harddrive. there are other ways but they may be illegal

It's not illegal as long as it's your map-pack you downloaded off of Xbox Live for halo 2. It's offically your property, just don't pirate the maps off of any websites because you just might mess up your Xbox.

But don't thumbdrives do the same job?

I don't wanna go out and waste 20$ =\

Also...I cannot keep the HDD since my friend is paying for the whole Xbox 360.
