PC INFO: Microsoft Windows XP, Home Edition, Version 2002, Service Pack 3. Intel(R) Pentium(R) 4 CPU 2.60 GHz;2.59 GHz, 512 MB of RAM
LAPTOP:Windows 7 Professional. Inter(R) Core(TM)2 Duo Cpu, T5450 @1.66GHz 1.67 GHz; Installed memory(RAM): 3.00 GB. 32-bit operating system
Does this help?
Yeah, basically what Bryo said. I think you will find that it runs much better on your laptop.
One more thing, out of curiosity:
On both the laptop & desktop, go to start, "Run" (type "run" into Window 7's start menu search bar), once you have that little window, type "dxdiag" (no quotation marks).
Now, on the DxDiag window, go to the "Display" tab. On that page, it tells you your graphics card info. It looks a bit like this, for example:
Device
Name: NVIDIA GeForce GTS 250
Manufacturer: NVIDIA
Chip Type: GeForce GTS 250
....
....
..... etc.
Just let me know that info, and I can tell you how well it should run.
EDIT: Don't worry about the "Drivers", "DirectX Features" or "Notes" sections. The "Device" area is all we need from the "Display" tab in DxDiag. =)
