I really like the theory and wish it was true except for one thing... on page 244-245 of "the flood" the monitor specifically calls a dead marine in the library "the other reclaimer" so the theory of the monitor knowing the clone of the master chief can't hold true.
Nice try, but this has already been discussed in the original thread several times... you should have looked. Here's a quick run down:)
I believe that Sergent Marvin Mobuto (the guy you're talking about) to be more of a "mistakened Reclaimer" who is taken to the Library when the events of Halo (the game) take place, and not the Reclaimer that I refer to in my theory. Why? Well, there are others on Halo at the time of the events during the game who have suits of armor similar in fashion to the Spartan's Mark IV. Who you might ask... ODSTs.
We know from First Strike that there were ODST's on Halo, because the MC finds Locklear... the only ODST left of his squad. It is quite possible that this "other Reclaimer" spoken about in The Flood is an ODST, not a regular soldier, who was mistakened as a Spartan/MC:)
ALSO
If there was a clone made of the MC who was sent to Halo by Ackerson, he would have surely been wearing some type of armor for protection. It wouldn't have been Mark IV armor though, because a clone of the MC wouldn't have the augmentation needed to wear Mark IV armor... the Spartans weren't born with super human abilities. So, what is the next best armor that is used by the UNSC... ODST armor. A cloned version of the MC would have been wearing the same armor as Sergeant Mobuto (the guy you're talking about).
To add to this, we know that Sergent Marvin Mobuto was wearing a suit of armor, because 343 GS refers to him as wearing a "less effective combat skin" than the MC's armor. The only suit of armor that fits this profile is an ODST suit of armor. Normal soldiers do not wear "suits of armor/combat skins". They just have a helmet and some bullet proof (same thing as ballistic:) armor covering their vital organ areas.
Here is a question for you:)
If Sergent Marvin Mobuto is the actual former Reclaimer, then why does 343 GS say this to the MC: "Last time, YOU asked me, if it was my choice, would I do it? Having considerable time to ponder your query, my answer has not changed. Clearly 343 GS is associting the MC with a former Reclaimer. Someone other than Sergent Marvin Mobuto, who is dead:)

P.S.
You should have posted this in the original thread instead of starting a new one:)
